We proclaim this the most perfect modern-day fairy tale wedding. The amazing details are what made Lauren & Taylor’s big day so grand. Nothing can be more classic than a black tie wedding, which uncommonly included an outdoor reception that was both modern and sophisticated.

The bride and groom said their ‘I do’s’ at St. Rita's Catholic Church, with the reception following at the Bride’s family home here in central Louisiana. The reception setup was spectacular! A plexiglass dancefloor let guests feel like they were floating on water as they danced the night away. We also need to mention the beauty that were the tables. The simple white floral arrangements and candelabras with small floral arrangements of simple elegance contrasting the silver high stands with candles gave a fairy tale sensation! The setup of the guest tables wrapping around the perimeter of the dance floor lit by candlelight was extraordinary- not a bad seat in the house! Especially the off-the-side seating of sleek, white leather lounge offered for guests to rest, so their feet also lived happily ever after!

Heather and Dayne are such fun, sweet, genuine people. It was a gorgeous summer day to have an outdoor wedding at the beautiful and historic Loyd Hall Plantation. Their ceremony was so lovely, decorated with classic elegance. The bride arrived in a beautiful horse and carriage, the entire wedding held an air of traditional southern romance. The reception that followed was just as elegant, each table adorned with an arrangement of beautiful blush and pink roses, tulips, and eucalyptus, all surrounded by candle light. Just a ways from the home, a beautiful white tent sat illuminated with lights, a dance floor, and guest tables waiting for everyone to come and dance the night away. It was a blast and SUCH an honor working with these two! The day couldn’t have been more special.

Lindsey and Jordan had a beautiful ceremony here in Alexandria at St. Rita's Catholic Church, The reception following at the Alexandria Riverfront Center. We have to say the flowers were immaculate, probably the largest most beautiful peonies we have ever seen! The centerpieces consisted of gorgeous peaches, pinks and creams, the flowers being peonies, o’hare roses, hydrangeas, and even a few tulips thrown in.  The reception was heavily draped in white from the walls to the tables, giving a very lavish effect. Several chandeliers set the room in a soft glow alongside candlelight. The evening was filled with great food, great music, and a lot of love.

Held in the historic Alexandria Red Cross building, Morgan and Caleb’s big day was a candlelit and blush covered dream. White draping and an elegant chandelier set the stage for a beautiful and timeless ceremony. Warm neutral tones, gold accents, and touches of whimsy, set the backdrop for a magical reception. An aspect we think was most magical, were the floral arrangements, they looked as if they came from a secret garden. Peonies, Garden roses, and seeded eucalyptus in guilt vases adorned each table accented by assorted bud vases, all set aglow by candlelight. The atmosphere was filled with the fragrance of roses and warmed by the candlelight creating a truly romantic scene as the newlyweds danced the night away.

There’s no better way to have a traditional southern wedding than getting married in front of a plantation. Ann and Luke said I do at the lovely Juliette Plantation, in Boyce Louisiana. The ceremony was the statement of sophistication in shades of orchid, opal, eggplant, and Ivory, while the reception to follow an epitome of a fairytale.  Our bride looked stunning walking down the aisle in a cathedral veil and train, the essence of classic Hollywood.  The reception  flowed with the grandness of it all in a tent piped and draped in white for miles. Anemone, garden Roses, hera roses, hydrangeas, and seeded eucalyptus floral arrangements set atop silver candelabras making their own statement,

while others graced the

tables in gold gilt vases.

The night was full of

surprises for our special

couple, a spectacular

firework show given by

the father of the bride,

really topped the night

off in an utmost magical

Fall is an amazing time of year here in Louisiana, the cool clear night skies make for a perfect evening wedding. Jassoni and Josh returned from their busy lives in Texas to share their special day with their family and friends here in Louisiana. Held at their family church, the style of the ceremony was timeless. The bride’s entrance was breathtaking as she stepped in at the crescendo of a beautiful song she chose for her soon to be husband.  A Rustic theme was chosen for this wedding reception, which fit well with the primitive architecture of the Alexandria Red Cross building. Lace accents, and distressed wood décor tied the whole thing together. The floral arrangements were done in apricot, amber, apple, and ivory. We were truly inspired by the love and kindness shared through this family, as they cherished every moment of witnessing their children’s newly wedded bliss.
